For this shoot, my understanding was that Lauryn wanted to shoot in a way that the images looked like stills from an angsty teen coming of age film. With the styling I decided to take subtle inspiration from the Rihanna the RIHissue (2021). Not having a full idea of the location interior design (colors, prints, and patterns) I decided to go with my typical textures and print as they always stand out and make any outfit more interesting. || please note: wardrobe was thrifted. $30 budget and no designer collabs. ||
